Stellar timing!
First things first... After spending many
hours
waiting over the course of the past week, thanks to some stellar timing I finally managed to catch a view of the eggs today. During a brief moment when the female was adjusting herself,
FOUR
eggs were spotted! It seemed she may have been sitting a little awkwardly but until I clearly saw something it was just speculation.
Secondly, according to best calculations, we're about 2 days from first hatch (ETA May 7th). Monitoring continues, now looking for white fluff.
Again on the stellar timing, window-washing for the building has been scheduled to start May 7th. Odd for sure, hopefully this activity proves to be a non-issue for the falcons. The MNR were made aware of this today.
Some web cam news!... Today it was confirmed that we'll get some of the PC hardware needed to run the web video. This is thanks to the support of our Ministry of Natural Resources and much appreciated!
Lastly, for building residents, efforts have been underway for months, to try to bring the falcon cam to the lobby-watch channel. All we need is a few meters of cable run, with any luck it will happen this Thursday.
