Nov 13, 2009 - Morning Deer Hunt

For a Friday the 13th this was a cool way to start the day. On a quiet frosted grassland behind my place, this beautiful buck was standing taking in the fresh morning air.

He stood there long enough for me to come back with the camera and snap a few shots. In fact, he wasn't in a rush to go anywhere at all, maybe awaiting a rendezvous with his mate?
