Apr 9, 2009 - Nice Surprise - 3 Eggs Confirmed

This week the falcons have been taking turns incubating, leaving minimal opportunity for us to observe and count eggs.

This afternoon, a second egg was witnessed. While up trying to get a better look, a third egg was spotted behind her. It seems possible that the third egg was laid while we were observing.

A few minutes later she carefully moved the egg in from the corner and proceeded to shield the 3 from the sun with her wing.
